About Globe Window Cleaning of Columbus, Ohio

Globe Window Cleaning was started in Mansfield Ohio in 1941 by Andrew DeCapio.  Andy cleaned windows in the Mansfield area, including Shelby, Mt Vernon, and Gallion  until his death on July 5, 1967.  Ronald DeCapio, his only son, soon acquired the business from his mother.  Ron had his own window cleaning and janitorial business, Richland Window Cleaning, from 1963 to 1967.   He merged the businesses together into Globe Window Cleaning Co. in 1967

In 1971, in search of new opportunities, Ron started looking for work in Columbus.  Several projects here including The Ohio State University including the Hospital made it obvious that the state capital was the place to be and he moved the company to Columbus, Ohio in 1979.

Here in Columbus, Globe Window Cleaning, Inc. has continued to offer professional window cleaning services at many Columbus landmarks as well as office buildings and homes.  We have watched and kept kept the windows clean at Port Columbus as it has developed into the international airport it is today, and maintained a clear view for the patients and staff as The Ohio State University Hospital has grown from Doan Hall to the Massive Complex of excellent care facilities it is today, as well as participated in the growth of the Columbus Ohio skyline by maintaining clean windows at multiple high-rise in addition to other buildings and offices.

As with the early use of the bucket truck for window cleaning, we acquired a specialized self propelled Denka Atrium lift with a 91' reach.  This battery driven, light weight, maneuverable lift can fit through a regular 36" door and is essential for many jobs, including atriums, churches and shopping malls.
